Vikings-Illustration-Frigg

It is with great emotion that I share with you today this setting in color. The first done with my new material.

"Frigg" a character from my saga.

Originally from Orkney, she is a horse breeder ... I will not say more for now except that at the time where my story unfolds, the Orkney are Norwegian.
_
The woman’s costume is classic, with the apron dress, the pearl necklace, the key, the knife ... the motive evoking a horse, it is inspired by an archaeological piece dating from the Viking era found in the tomb of a woman with orcades.

Apprehending this work with the new material has required some adaptation time and I take this illustration as a kind of test that allowed me to start finding my marks.
